Gift sketch for a translator. (Shhhh, I haven't sent it yet) I've left room for the inscription at the top and left.
Modified Eames chair (separated legs, cushion) and kidney end table, fap fap fap. I love postwar furniture design. Shirt open + tie idea totally lifted from Vegita4Eva. *bow* I'm not particularly fond of how this came out. Had to do a lot of retouching in PS and it still doesn't really sit well. I hope the "interrupted reading/"Hmm? What's that?" expression comes across. Books, bottom to top: the OED, Simon Winchester's The Professor and the Madman (highly recommended btw), Martin Buber's I and Thou, and... Bill Cosby, Himself. Why is the latter a wide format coffee table book? I don't know. Also, Jin has good taste in bourbon. (xposted) |
