I was inspired to do this by Isaia's rendering of Prince Naveen's family tree (here: [link])

Man, TJ's grandma got dealt a really bad hand.

I erased some possibly spoilery stuff from his mom's part, but she was on a high dose of a certain prescription drug that can cause heart inflammation and severe white blood cell deficiency. (Personally, I think it was related to that, not suicide - but who knows.)

Somewhere in Chicago there's a guy who has no idea he has a pretty rad son.

I like to imagine TJ's dad's dad looking sort of like a more square-jawed Gregory Hines. Also: 1968, great timing for moving to America, fffff.

Of course none of this ever even comes up in the story, nor has any bearing on anything EVER. Augh why do I do these things.

I did Amal's family tree, too, but everybody on his Dad's side is deceased, and his Mom's family is pretty mild-mannered, so eh. (Well, his aunt Lakshmi is a talented sculptor, so there is that.)
