Commission for HiddenGems.

It's Jin from Samurai Champloo, roundabout his big scene at the end of the series... although I suppose he has had a few decent meals at some point between then and this picture.

I have a tendency to draw torsos too long (and arms too long to fall mid-thigh alongside them)... gotta work on that :/

Very nice. I adore your coloring style. ^^

Honestly, I wouldn't have even noticed the torso legnth if it wasn't pointed out to me.

Yowza.

The coloring is beautiful, and well... it's Jin.

And surely there's some lee way when drawing anime people in regards to anatomy, right?

I can't see the long torso... I must be looking at something else. ^^

as always, gorgeous work. and anatomy? it's not like the average person is perfectly proportional.

Nice!

I have to watch that series again... it didn't imprint itself on my brain the way Bebop did.

That's beautiful, it's absolutely fantastic and I wouldn't expect any less from someone as awesome as you.

It took until about episode 13/14 before it really dug its way into my head - I enjoyed it before then, but those two episodes showed how the characters were gradually changing and growing because of their interaction.

"Samurai Champloo" is an odd bird - it's got really high high points and really low low points... I think I just love it for the characters.

Hee hee hee, when that scene came on, everybody in the room turned to see how I'd react and I stayed stony-faced JUST TO SPITE THEM. XD

Actually, I think we giggled because of the Barry-White-ish music that came up...
