I don't know how many of these I'll do. Some will be funny, some will be horrifying. All of 'em will be true.
Notes on this strip:
- Yes, it was explicitly stated that we'd be fired for missing one of these meetings. Being late resulted in losing all your shifts for a week.
- Here begins the ongoing theme of passive-aggressive shittiness. It is also at this point that I begin to suspect I'm just oversensitive or something.

Oh man, loving this comic, but OOF, it's reminding me why I always try to be as nice as possible to waiters and retail people. If those jobs aren't purgatory, I don't know what is.
It's a tough call as to what my worst job ever was--working retail in a teen store at the mall, or doing inventory at 4 am in dollar stores and grocery stores with uber creeps. Fewer sex offenders at the mall store, but more rules (at the other job, so long as I wasn't noticeably intoxicated, everything was A-OK!) Now I live in a third world country and work for peanuts doing freelance and it was A FANTASTIC DECISION, holy shit. Honestly, not having hot water is a small price to pay for not having to deal with customers and managers.
